Hurricane Helene Hounds Want Your Assist

Our hearts are heavy this week. Our house state of North Carolina was hit so laborious by Hurricane Helene.

Volunteers are working across the clock to supply ample shelter, meals, and water to canines and cats (and people) in want. Nevertheless, the sources are extraordinarily restricted, together with operating water, energy, and web.

Fortunately, the storm didn’t severely injury the  Asheville Humane Society‘s (AHS) services. Nevertheless, an absence of potable water made it troublesome to take care of animals within the Buncombe County Animal Shelter.

Consequently, AHS has flown round 100 animals to Forsyth Humane Society (in our hometown of Winston-Salem) to maintain them protected in shelters and foster properties away from the destruction.
